Team Scotland athletes dominated the finals on the opening day of the Scottish National & Open Swimming Championships, which are taking place this weekend at the Aquatics Centre in Aberdeen. With the swimming programme of the Commonwealth Games starting four weeks to the day, and the Scottish Summer Meet in two weeks, athletes continued their preparation for a strong season finale.

Our busy summer of events continues, and we are delighted to return to the Aquatics Centre in Aberdeen this weekend for the Scottish National Open Swimming Championships. The event was last run in 2019 and it makes a welcome return to the competition calendar.
Water Polo competition calendar for international teams set to be discussed
Water Polo’s Home Countries Leadership Group is to meet next month to discuss a competition calendar for international teams in 2023. The group is made up of key volunteers and officers from each of the home nations and is chaired by Swim Wales chief executive and British Swimming Board member Fergus Feeney.
