Fast racing in the Granite City continued until the last moment of the year’s Scottish National Open Championships, as swimmers rounded off their programme on Day 3

Craig McNally pulled off a thrilling victory in the Men’s 100m Backstroke, with a storming last 50m, in what was the standout race of Day Two of the Scottish National Open Championships.

Team Scotland athletes dominated the finals on the opening day of the Scottish National & Open Swimming Championships, which are taking place this weekend at the Aquatics Centre in Aberdeen. With the swimming programme of the Commonwealth Games starting four weeks to the day, and the Scottish Summer Meet in two weeks, athletes continued their preparation for a strong season finale.

Our busy summer of events continues, and we are delighted to return to the Aquatics Centre in Aberdeen this weekend for the Scottish National Open Swimming Championships. The event was last run in 2019 and it makes a welcome return to the competition calendar.
